The school is located in the north of Taiyuan Basin and at the upper area of Beixi Basin. There are five villages among the school district, including Meilan, Beixi, Shunna, Degaolao and Donghe Farm. The ethnic groups of students include Amis, Hokkien and Hakka. Most parents of the students engaged in agriculture. Beiyuan community is rich in natural resources, various animals and beautiful campus. In recent years, the teachers develop many kinds of learning courses, including music, art, aboriginal dance and so on. The main purpose of these multiple courses is to cultivate the children’s physical and mental development.
